Nimigea de Jos, Romania (March 2023)

On the first day of the exchange, we gathered at the school after a short bus ride from the hotel. The principal delivered a warm welcome speech, followed by a tour of the school. Ice-breaker activities helped us get to know each other better. Later in the day, participants presented infographics on sustainable topics. After lunch in Năsăud, we visited Casa Costumului Popular, where we experienced Romanian cultural heritage and traditional costumes.

On the second day, we participated in a workshop at the school, deepening our knowledge of sustainability. Lunch was served at the school. In the afternoon, we visited the Sanct Gurgh Mansion in the Rodnei Mountains National Park and had the opportunity to enjoy Romania's breathtaking nature.

On the third day, we visited the impressive Turda Salt Mine and had the opportunity to explore the underground chambers. After lunch at Vivo Mall in Cluj-Napoca, we enjoyed our free time in the city.

On the last day of the trip, a conference was held to present the project's results and discuss future activities in Poland. After the evaluation and certificate distribution, we enjoyed lunch in the city center of Bistrița and explored the picturesque old town.

The Erasmus+ exchange was an enriching experience that allowed participants to deepen their understanding of sustainability, forge new friendships, and experience Romanian culture. We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to future projects and exchanges.
